Heat and Salt Resistant Reagent KMC-TS

KMS-TS is the heat and salt resistant product of esterifying cellulose with modifying additives. It is intended for regulating structural flow and filtration parameters of all types of water-based drilling fluids. The KMC-TS reagent has enhanced heat and salt resistance as compared with carboxymethylated cellulose.

Application

The reagent efficiently regulates the water loss of drilling fluids, including in such conditions as drilling at elevated temperatures and mineralization, and endows drilling fluids with optimal structural flow properties.

 

Consumption

The tentative reagent consumption ranges from 5 to 15 kg per cubic meter of drilling fluid.

 

Packaging

KMC-TS is packaged in 25-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.
