Smolopolymer Additive for Drilling Fluids

Smolopolymer is used to stabilize the filtration, regulate flow parameters, and improve lubricant and anticorrosive properties of water-based drilling fluids.

The main functions of Smolopolymer in drilling fluids are to:

- efficiently reduce the filtration of all types of drilling fluids;; - regulate the flow parameters of drilling fluids, including those with a high solid phase content and density of up to 2 200 kg/m³; - make drilling fluids stabler at elevated temperatures of up to 220°C and increase mineralization with NaCl and K to saturation and up to 2% with calcium chloride; - inhibit clay shale; - show surface-active, lubricant, and anticorrosion properties.

 

Processing

The tentative consumption of Smolopolymer ranges from 5 to 30 kg per cubic meter of drilling fluid.

 

Packaging

Smolopolymer is packaged in 25-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.
