POLYOILBARM
Polyoilbarm is intended for well completion at abnormally high reservoir pressures (AHRP). This compound is an alternative solution of ultraheavy salt fluids w/o solid phase (zinc chloride, calcium and zince bromide, caesium formiate). Polyoilbarm is a suspension of micronized barite (< 5 μm) in a mineral oil; the density of Polyoilbarm may be controlled from1 735 to 2 500 kg/m3. Applications: drilling-in of productive reservoirs with AHRP; wellbore leakage killing; punching and killing at AHRP; packer fluid; buffer fluid.

Main strengths:
Weak flow properties of the solution; high sedimentation stability, including at heating for 100°Ñ during 24 h; corrosion inactive; more complete hole cleaning; better ECD control; low coefficient of friction and torque on the rotor; environmentally friendly.Back
