olygel ASM is used in the repair-and-renewal works aimed at reinforcing the bottomhole formation zone and preventing cement stone and side rock from turning permeable to water. Polygel ASM is produced as Polygel ASM-P and Polygel ASM-KZ. Polygel ASM-P is a composite powder that forms a gel at the interaction with water. Polygel ASM-KZ is a liquid compound of two components: Component 1 is a solution of silicon compounds, and Component 2 is a gel former.

Application
Thanks to its properties, Polygel ASM is recommended for recovering the casing integrity at low intake capacity; water shutoff of particular reservoirs of low intake capacity; recovering cement stone integrity;eliminating intercasing pressures.
Processing
When constantly stirred for 2–3 hours, Polygel ASM-P is mixed with water at a ratio of 1:3–1:4 at 20–40 °Ñ. The controllable period when Polygel ASM-P remains a mineralized and highly penetrative solution ranges from 6 to 24 hours. The solution is pumped into the zone of repairs, cured under pressure for 24 hours, and then transforms into a strong gel so that the irreversible clogging of cracks and cavities occurs. After mixing Polygel ASM-KZ is a low-vis, easily mobile, and highly penetrative liquid. This reagent is intended for being pressure-injected into fine subsurface rock joints and hairline cracks to limit water inflows, strengthen sand reservoirs, and recover the cement stone integrity outside casing in a broad range of temperatures from 5 to 120 °Ñ.
Packaging
Polygel ASM-P is packaged in 25-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner. Polygel ASM-KZ is packaged in 200-l metal barrels.Back
