Polyhydrosil Polymeric Water-Repelling Reagent

ToR 2458-153-97457491-2016

Polyhydrosil is used to endow the sand reservoirs of the bottomhole zone of development wells with water-repelling properties. Polyhydrosil consists of a hardener and the solution of organosilicone polymer in an organic solvent. After the components are mixed in a determined proportion and pumped into the sand reservoir, the reagent’s polymeric base is chemically adsorbed on the quartz rock surface and endows it with water-repelling properties. In this case, the permeability of the sand reservoir zone processed with Polyhydrosil goes down at least by twofold for water and increases for organic fluids.
