Application
Carboxymethyl cellulose facilitates the formation of a fine but dense filter cake and, therefore, curtails the filtrate’spenetration into the reservoir. The reagent’s influence on flow characteristics is determined by the product type.KMC-9N produces the minimal thickening effect, whereas KMC-9V makes drilling fluids more viscous.
Consumption
The tentative reagent consumption is 5-15 kg per cubic meter of drilling fluid.
Packaging
CMC is packaged in 20-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.Back
