Polyoilcheck Hydrofob Water-Repelling Agent

Polyoilcheck Hydrofobe is based on derivatives of aliphatic, aromatic, and unsaturated fatty acids and used as a highly efficient additive to invert emulsion drilling fluids. The reagent lowers the flow characteristics of hydrocarbon solutions and controls filtration values as well as the resistance to contamination with bit cuttings.

Application

This additive is applied when the invert emulsion is heavily contaminated with solid particles or when the well is filled with reservoir waters and in case of the potential increase in viscosity due to water-soaked solid particles. The product allows hydrofobizating any water-soaked particles and makes them excellently wetted and compatible with mineral and synthetic oils.

 

Consumption

The effective consumption of Polyoilcheck Hydrofob ranges from 3 to 14 kg/m³.

 

Packaging

The product is supplied in 200-l metal barrels.
