Polyoilcheck VIS Viscosity Controller
ToR 2458-074-97457491-2012
Polyoilcheck VIS is applied for enhancing the structural flow characteristics of hydrocarbon solutions w/o making them denser. Four Polyoilcheck VIS grades are produced: Polyoilcheck VIS, an all-purpose thickening additive for hydrocarbon drilling fluids; Polyoilcheck VIS-A and VIS-AT, a viscosity controller for emulsion drilling fluids, a thickening additive for Polybur-Turbo system; Polyoilcheck VIS-SD, a viscosity controller for emulsion drilling fluids, a thickening additive for Polyemulsan systems.

Application
Polyoilcheck VIS reagents allow cutting the time, material, and transportation costs of exposing the drilling fluid to chemical processing and favor a reduction in the filtration characteristics of hydrocarbon solutions. The viscosity controller remains efficient in a broad range of temperatures.
Processing and consumption
The viscosity controller’s typical concentration ranges from 1.7 to 17 kg/m3, which depends on the oil phase type, required properties of the target emulsion, and other components of the system. It is recommended to expose the system to a lab test for determining the optimal concentration of the viscosity controller before using it in practice.
Packaging
The product is supplied in 200-l metal barrels.Back
