POLYFIBER REINFORCING FILLER

ToR 2458-058-97457491-2012

Polyfiber is used as a filler in all types of fluids for creating the primary frame of plugging compounds for preventing and eliminating rinsing fluid circulation losses. The reinforcing filler is used to modify cement compositions. Polyfiber is a modified polymeric fiber and produced as Polyfiber-6 and Polyfiber-12 different in fiber length.

Product specs

Polyfiber-6 Polyfiber-12
Average fiber diameter, μm 20–30
Fiber length, m 6 ±10% 12 ±10%

Application

After it enters the cracks, Polyfiber precipitates on rough and irregular parts of rock walls and creates a lattice structure for retaining smaller filling particles that form an impermeable barrier. The tentative concentration of Polyfiber is 5 weight %. In cement compounds Polyfiber betters their resistance to vibration, frost, and water; in addition, Polyfiber makes cement stone better impact resistant. The fibers block capillaries in concrete and, henceforth, make concrete less water-permeable and water-absorbing, increase its compression and bending strength.

Packaging

Polyfiber in packaged in15-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.
