Polyfiltrol is composition based on organic fibers with various inorganic modifying dopes. It is used in oil and gas industry to eliminate averagely or highly intensive circulation losses during well drilling and also for reducing the intake rate of reservoirs in the course of water shutoff procedures.

Application

Polyfiltrol wall-sealing material is intended for insulating absorbing porous rock reservoirs and eliminating fissured-cavernous lost circulation zones and crossover passages in behind-the-casing cement stone. Polyfiltrol can be used for perforation plugging before the installation of cutting cement plugs.

 

Processing

Polyfiltrol is tempered on process water or salt solution so that a suspension with a lot of solid phase is produced characterized by high instant filtration values. The minimal tentative effective concentration of Polyfiltrol is 30%. The suspension is pumped along the tubular space right to the lost circulation zone in leakproof borehole annulus.

 

Packaging

Polyfiltrol is packaged in 25-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.
