Polyprone Additive for Drilling Fluids
ToR 2458-049-97457491-2011
Polyprone additive for drilling fluids is produced in bulk and liquid form. The bulk version of Polyprone is intended for efficiently dissolving the carbonate-polymer cake and recovering the natural permeability of productive reservoirs. The liquid version of Polyprone is intended for efficiently reducing the liquid-phase colmatation of productive reservoirs tapped using water-based drilling fluid systems.

Application
The bulk version of Polyprone is a composite product the components of which are mixed in advance and added to rinsing fluid right before pumping into the well. The liquid version of Polyprone is recommended for processing drilling fluid during well completion and productive reservoir tapping to retain the natural permeability of the bottomhole zone. The additive’s components make the reservoir pores’ surface water-repellent and efficiently reduce the interphase tension at the boundary between the drilling fluid filtrate and the hydrocarbon phase of reservoir fluid. The liquid Polyprone additive produces a detergent and lubricant effect, favors the reduction in the rate and degree of argillaceous rock hydration, and allows retaining the natural permeability of productive reservoirs.
Consumption
The recommended consumption of Polyprone reaches 10 (liquid) and 100 kg (bulk version) per cubic meter of drilling fluid.
Packaging
The liquid Polyprone additive is poured in 200-l steel barrels. The bulk Polyprone additive is packaged in 25-kg polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner.Back
