During well construction, a number of complications may occur due to mining and geological phenomena. These include lost returns (lost circulation), gas, oil and water shows, and wellbore instability.

In order to prevent and fight brine and water shows, as well as to control lost circulation of process fluids (drilling fluids and backfilling slurries) and leakiness of the annular space, JSC “NPO “Polycell” offers a line of water-insulating and backfilling compositions.
