Application
Carboxymethylated cellulose facilitates formation of a thin, dense filtration crust, reducing filtrate penetration into the formation. The effect of the reagent on the rheological characteristics is determined by the product grade. CMC 9L has a minimal thickening effect, CMC 9H increases the viscosity of drilling fluids. The thermal stability of the reagents is 120°C.
Treatment
Approximate reagent consumption is 5-15 kg per 1 m? of drilling fluid.
Packaging
CMC is packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.Back
