Polytemp polymer reagent

Polytemp polymer reagent is designed to stabilize and reduce fluid loss of water-based drilling process fluids at high temperatures from 150 to 200°С. The following grades are available: Polytemp (up to 150°С), Polytemp-200 (up to 200°С) и Polytemp-Т (thermostable rheology modifier for use in water-based fluids).

Application

Polytemp polymer reagent is used as a filtration reducer and stabilizer of technical characteristics when drilling deep, intentionally deviated and sub-horizontal wells as part of freshwater, lime-gypsum, salt and weighted water-based drilling fluids. When used on its own, Polytemp-T acts as a high-performance liquefier and thermal stabilizer for high-temperature drilling fluids.

 

Treatment

Consumption amounts to 5-15 kg/m? in freshwater fluids and up to 15-30 kg/m? in salt fluids.

 

Packaging

Polytemp polymer reagents are packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.
