Ferrolignosulfonate (FLS)

FLS (ferrolignosulfonate) reagent produced by JSC “NPO “Polycell” is used to reduce viscosity and gel strength of water-based drilling fluids with high colloidal phase content. The reagent retains its technological properties under conditions of high downhole temperatures (up to 130°C). The reagent composition additionally includes a foam suppressant to reduce foaming activity. The product does not contain chromium and is therefore recommended for use in environmentally sensitive areas, including offshore. The product belongs to Hazard Class 4.

Approximate reagent consumption is up to 15 kg per 1 m? of drilling fluid.

 

Packaging

FLS reagent for drilling fluids is packed into 20-25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.
