MultiLube

MultiLube is a high-performance lubricant composed of partially neutralized natural higher fatty acids. Its enhanced lubricity reduces downhole friction forces and torque on the drill string. By reducing the friction coefficient of the drilling fluid to the maximum degree, MultiLube improves the rate of penetration and reduces wear on moving equipment parts. Effective in fresh, salt-saturated, and weighted drilling fluids, it disperses well due to a blend of effective emulsifiers. It also does not affect rheological properties of the drilling fluids.

Application and treatment

Recommended lubricant dosage: 0.5–3%. The specific dosage is determined by the actual drilling conditions (length of the open hole section, deviation from vertical, type of drilling fluid and formation, bottom hole assembly configuration, etc.).

 

Packaging

The MultiLube high-performance lubricating additive is supplied in plastic or steel drums of 200 kg.
