Polytexol

Polytexol is designed for stabilization of unstable clay shale formations, it prevents their sloughing, significantly improves lubricating properties of drilling fluids and reduces fluid loss at high temperatures and pressure, ensures creation of a thin and strong filtration crust. Polytexol is a composite material based on sulfonated derivatives of bitumen and naturally occurring resins. Polytexol is used both in freshwater and saline flush liquids.

Treatment

The drilling fluid is treated using standard equipment (clay mixers, hydro funnels, etc.). Approximate Polytexol reagent consumption: 10–40 kg/m3

 

Packaging

Polytexol is packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.
