Polyaminal

Technical Specifications ÒÓ 2458-091-97457491-2013.

Polyaminal reagent is an amine-type liquid inhibitor used to prevent swelling of water-sensitive clay formations on contact with drilling fluids or water-based well-killing fluids.
Polyaminal stabilizes clay shale formations, prevents their hydration, helps improve stability of the bore hole walls, and reduces the likelihood of mudball formation.Polyaminal P inhibits hydration and swelling of clays and clay shales, prevents further dispersion of drilled clay rocks.

PropertiesThere are no application restrictions for this reagent. It can be used in all types of water-based drilling fluids. It enables partial and in some cases complete elimination of the use of KCl.A key feature of the Polyaminal P reagent is its ability to chemically bind colloidal clay and render it inactive. The technical result of its application is a significant reduction in the MBT value and prevention of rheological parameter increases when drilling through clay intervals.

Treatment

Approximate consumption of Polyaminal reagent is 5–20 kg per 1 m? of process fluid.

Packaging

Polyaminal is supplied in 200 kg steel drums or 1000 kg plastic cubic tanks.
