Ultracement micronized cement

Technical Specifications ÒÓ 5739-019-56864391-2010

JSC “NPO “Polycell” produces and supplies superfine cement (construction, backfilling, special-purpose) similar to Microdur microcement. The following grades of Ultracement micronized cement are commercially produced:
Ultracement-15, Óëüòðàöåìåíò-10, Ultracement-7, Ultracement-5, Ultracement-TS.The Ultracement-TS grade is a high-temperature composition based on micronized cement with the addition of micronized quartz sand. Ultracement-TS is designed for use in challenging geological and technical conditions. The material maintains its performance characteristics at application temperatures up to 150°C.

Application

Ultracement is a backfilling material designed to eliminate complications during drilling, current repair and workover of oil and gas wells in the following cases: for elimination of behind-the-casing flows in the annular space; for cementing of highly permeable and poorly stable moistened host rocks; to restore the strength of loosened cements; for vertical and horizontal waterproofing of underground structures; for injection soil consolidation.Ultracement is supplied to the workover area as an aqueous suspension or in a transporting agent (polyglycols, diesel fuel), or injected using collar injectors, whereby microcement penetrates into thin pores and cracks.Microcement suspension has a high mobility comparable to that of water even at minimum W/C ratio. The penetration capacity of the suspension is comparable to that of disperse-free binders.Ultracement, depending on the grade of the initial cement raw material, hardens in a wide temperature range, is resistant to aggressive media, has no shrinkage.Ultracement provides significant advantages when used as an additive to backfilling cement when placing cement plugs and casing cementing. Introduction of 20% Ultracement in the formulation of a backfilling slurry provides an increase in slurry stability, a significant increase in the early strength of cement stone and its adhesion to metal and rocks, even at low temperatures.

Packaging

Micronized cement is packaged in 900 kg big bags or in 25 kg lined polypropylene bags.
