Polycem Plast plasticizer

Composite additives to cement slurries, based on carboxylates and mixtures of sodium salts of polymethylene naphthalene sulfoacids of different molecular weight, with modifying additives of lignosulfonic acid salts and other organic and inorganic substances.
Besides their general plasticizing effect, Polycem Plast grades have the following properties: Polycem Plast-1 reduces water.
Polycem Plast-2 increases strength.
Polycem Plast-3 regulates the kinetics of hardening.The material is produced in the form of powder and in the form of aqueous solution.

Application

Plasticizing additives are intended for use in cementing processes of oil, gas condensate and gas wells as part of backfilling slurries in order to regulate their rheological properties, reduce hydraulic resistance of the cement slurry when pumped into the annular space, reduce pumping and squeezing pressure.The additives can also be used in other types of concrete and cement slurry mixtures when manufacturing concrete and reinforced concrete structures for civil, industrial, transportation and other types of construction.

 

Treatment

The additives are introduced into the slurry mix in the form of aqueous solution together with the mixing water. The consumption of additives is determined based on preliminary selection of the cement slurry mixture composition. Recommended additive content (to dry cement weight):Polycem Plast-1: 0.1–0.5%Polycem Plast-2 0.2–0.7%;Polycem Plast-3: 0.5–1%.

 

Packaging

Polycem Plast plasticizing additives to cement slurries are packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liners. Liquid material is supplied in 200-litre drums, plastic canisters of various volumes.
