Low-molecular weight polymer PAA-L

PAA polymers are used to stabilize process fluids used for drilling and workover of oil and gas wells. Besides, PAA-L low-molecular weight polymer is used to reduce filtration, PAA-H high-molecular weight polymer is used as flocculant and thickener of drilling fluids.

Application

PAA reagents are used to regulate filtration and rheological characteristics of flush liquids, reduce the intensity of solid phase build-up during drilling, and improve lubricating properties.In secondary oil production, PAA additives reduce the mobility of water injected into the formation, which facilitates better displacement of oil from porous rocks and enhanced oil recovery.

 

Treatment

Approximate reagent consumption is 5–25 kg per 1 m? of drilling fluid for PAA-L reagent and 0.5-5 kg per 1 m? of drilling fluid for PAA-H reagent.

 

Packaging

PAA polymer is packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.
