Polybaccide

The reagent is a multifunctional bactericide designed for use in the oil and gas industry to prevent bacterial decomposition of organic components of water-based drilling fluids. There are several grades of Polybaccide reagent available:
Polybaccide prevents bacterial decomposition of organic components of water-based drilling fluids caused by cellulose-fermenting, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Effective against blue-green algae and microscopic fungi. It suppresses the activity of sulfate-reducing bacteria that cause corrosion of equipment. Polybaccide-M has fungicidal and bactericidal action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The reagent prevents biogrowth.

Treatment

The reagent is added to the drilling fluid when it is prepared. The concentration for initial treatment is 0.3 kg/m?. During the drilling process, it is necessary to periodically treat the drilling fluid. Polybaccide produces no adverse effect on drilling fluid parameters.

 

Packaging

Polybaccide multifunctional bactericide is packaged into 200 kg steel drums or 30 kg canisters.
