POLYSCREP polymer composition

POLYSCREP polymer composition is designed for repair-and-renewal operations related to reinforcing the downhole formation area to prevent withdrawal of sand in gas and oil wells. A mixture of two components of the POLYSCREP composition is used for work, the working composition is prepared immediately before use.
POLYSCREP-S grade is used as a making-up composition after treatment of a weakly consolidated reservoir with POLYSCREP composition. Application of POLYSCREP-S leads to increased reservoir strength in the downhole area of the formation, where maximum stresses occur during reservoir fluid production, without significant loss of permeability.

Application

Component 2, in the amount of 3–5% wt, is mixed with Component 1 immediately before well treatment. The ready-made POLYSCREP composition is pumped into the productive formation pre-treated with a special PolyRC buffer composition, then the formation is purged with gas.

 

Treatment

The consumption is between 50 and 200 litres per linear meter depending on the reservoir permeability.

 

Packaging

POLYSCREP polymer composition is supplied in 200-litre metal drums or in plastic canisters.
