Polyhydrosil polymer composition

Polyhydrosil polymer reagent is used for water-repellent treatment of sandy reservoirs of the downhole area of production wells.
The reagent is a two-component composition consisting of an organosilicon polymer solution in an organic solvent and a hardener. After mixing the components in a certain ratio and pumping into the sand bed, the polymer base of the reagent is chemically adsorbed on the surface of the quartz rock giving it water-repellent properties. The water permeability of the reagent-treated area of the sand reservoir decreases at least twice, while increasing for organic fluids.

Application

Component 1 of Polyhydrosil polymer composition is mixed with Component 2 in the required ratios immediately before application. The well treatment technology provides for compulsory application of a flushing buffer based on PolyRC NF-AS process fluid.The finished composition is pumped after the flushing buffer into the downhole area through the producing string or coiled tubing unit using a pump.

 

Packaging

Component 1 of the Polyhydrosil polymer composition is supplied in 30-litre plastic canisters, and Component 2 in 5-liter plastic canisters or 1000 ml plastic bottles.
