PolyRR reagent

PolyRR clay cake removing reagent is used in technologies eliminating seizure of drilling tools and casing strings. The clay cake removal technology is based on chemical destruction of clay material.

Application

The clay cake removal technology involves pumping and installation of an anti-seize bath. The recommended content of PolyPR reagent in the anti-seize bath – NMT 20%. To accelerate dissolution of PolyRR reagent it is allowed to use water preheated to 60°C.The mechanism of PolyRR reagent effect on the rock is chemical effect on the crystalline lattice of clay material, due to which the structural bonds are weakened, which results in destruction of clay particles. After exposure to PolyRR reagent, clay particles are not capable of compaction, so they are easily removed from under the seized casing.

PolyRR agent is supplied in 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liners.
