Polytan polymer material
Technical Specifications ÒÓ 2458-025-56864391-2012
Polytan polymer material is used to eliminate leaks in the annular space, secure oil and gas well casings in the area of permafrost rocks, eliminate caverns and water shows, as well as to seal and fill wet cracks in concrete, masonry and brick structures.
seal expansion joints.
waterproof reinforced concrete structures subject to dynamic loads.
consolidate soils.
Polytan polymer material is available in four grades: Polytan-CEM is used as a substitute for traditional backfilling materials during well construction in permafrost rock sections.
Polytan-Screp is used for workovers to restore permeability of oil and gas well reservoirs in order to increase their hydrocarbon debit and reduce the water.
Polytan is used to eliminate leaks in the annular space during remedial cementing on oil and gas wells.
Polytan-I is used to eliminate caverns and water shows when constructing oil and gas wells, as well as to seal and fill wet cracks in concrete, masonry and brick structures.
seal expansion joints.
waterproof reinforced concrete structures subject to dynamic loads.
consolidate soils.

Treatment
After pumping, Polytan material contacts water contained in the well, cures with a multiple increase in volume due to the gas released during the reaction, forming a solid porous mass. This forms a durable, strong, and elastic sealed joint with a closed porous structure. Before use, Polytan reagent is kept for 12 hours in a warm room at +10–15°C. The required amount of the reagent is determined by calculation.
Packaging
Polytan polymer material is packed into 30 kg canisters.Back
