Polyfiltrol backfilling material

Polyfiltrol is a backfilling composition based on fibrous material with various inorganic modifying additives. It is used in the oil and gas production industry to control medium- and high-intensity lost returns during well drilling, and to reduce formation injection capacity during waterproofing works.

Application

Polyfiltrol backfilling material is designed for isolation of absorbing formations of pore reservoirs, control lost return areas of mixed fissure-pore type and flow channels in the cement stone behind the casing. It can be used to plug perforation channels prior to placing cutoff cement plugs.

 

Treatment

Polyfiltrol is mixed with technical water or salt solution to obtain a suspension with a high solid phase content, which is characterized by high values of instantaneous filtration.Approximate working concentration of the reagent starts from 30%. The suspension is pumped through the pipe space directly into the lost return area with the annular space sealed.Packaging Polyfiltrol backfilling material is packed into 25 kg polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner.
